The unique finish on these cups is the product of a couple atmospheric firings. Wheel-thrown stoneware coated with various slips and glazes. During the firing, the live flame was fueled by gas and wood, soda ash and salt were added to enhance surface effects on the pieces in the kiln.

Hand washing recommended.
